We are one of the sponsors and will be exhibiting the 8th Border Security Annual Conference being held in Rome in 2015. Organised by SMI Group Ltd, the conference will be held the Crowne Plaza St Peter’s Hotel & Spa from 18th to 19th February.
The conference will focus on European Border Security with particular emphasis on current problems and operations, together with discussions on the latest and innovative solutions for solving some of the most pressing issues.
Rome has been chosen as the host city for the event this year because of the recent humanitarian tragedies associated with ongoing migration into Italy from North Africa, and the conference programme will feature presentations on this issue by key speakers from the host nation.
Other speakers already booked to present papers include Mr John Vine, the UK’s Chief Inspector of Borders and Immigration, Danielle Sharp from the UK Border Force at Gatwick Airport and Antti Hartikainen, Head of the EU Border Assistance Mission in Libya.
